Concept Design Studies
Concept Design Studies provide an effective tool to improve the comfort, energy and maintenance cost of the facility. Computer simulations are performed on an hourly basis for larger buildings. These model the building and its behavior, and provide indoor air temperatures and energy consumptions. Modifications can then be made to the model to control the level of comfort and energy costs. These are regularly undertaken with great success at many companies around New Zealand, including universities, swimming pools, hospitals, schools, general office and production buildings.

Analysis of different building elements and systems provide comprehensive recommendations of cost effective building upgrades including double glazing, insulation, shading, natural ventilation, lighting, lighting controls and optimizing HVAC plant.
